To accommodate 2-D art, the Warble Gallery has available a professional hanging system.  As a result, all 2-D entries must accommodate this hanging system.  In short, all 2-D art work submitted must be exhibition ready and ready to hang as appropriate for the display and protection of the work.

Please note: Entries for both the student and adult art competitions will hang in the Grover Museum’s Warble Gallery.  This gallery can accommodate 3-D art (sculpture, jewelry, carvings, etc.) and 2-D art (oil paintings, sketches, photographs, etc.) .

Exhibition ready means that submitted 2-D art is either gallery-wrapped, framed or matted with eyelet hooks or a wire hanger in place.  The Warble Gallery can accommodate 2-D art with wire hangers only.  Saw-tooth hangers cannot be accommodated. Ready to hang is a term used to describe a painting or art print that can be hung on a wall and displayed immediately, without the buyer or gallery owner having to do anything else to it.  Please note, all 2-D art submitted to either show must be ready to hang.  Entries to either show that are not ready to hang will be rejected.
